An Official G-Commerce Government Platform

Supplier Verification

G-Commerce's Vendor Verification is a credibility check against government trusted databases. G-Commerce vets and verifies third-party vendors to ensure they do not pose a threat, and that they have never been blacklisted or debarred from doing business with the government. The Vendor Verification is followed by a product approval procedure which ensures that no counterfeit items are available for purchase, by validating product certifications issued by the manufacturer and software-assisted product vetting.

G-Commerce Vendor Verification's database checks include the SAM.gov Excluded List, the U.S. Department of Commerce's database, the FDA Debarment List, and the United Nations's Blacklist. Vendors verify their business upon sign-up by providing their business registration, a W-9, their business license number, and certifications associated with their socio-economic denominations, if applicable.

G-Commerce complies with Parts A and B of Section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act. G-Commerce does not utilize any equipment, system or service that uses covered telecommunications equipment or services. Vendors on G-Commerce are verified to meet this requirement as well. Vendors are required to complete our 889 Certification Form upon registration.

G-Commerce Vendor Verification enables the complete vetting of third-party suppliers prior to those suppliers joining our marketplace, taking competition and supply chain risks into account.
